![]() ![]() The moral ambiguity of the characters was something I really loved, as none of the characters are good people, they're realistic, with faults and issues. For most of the movie I wanted nothing more than for Sam Rockwell's character to get his comeuppance, he was such an unlikable character, I never would have expected I would actually kind of sympathize with him and like him a little in the end, also Sam Rockwell is an amazing actor, as always. The dialogue and story is amazing, and the ambiguous redemption arc was so well done. ![]() It’s an impactful movie about hate and its vicious cycle, as well as the heavy subject of rape culture. Really great movie, Martin McDonough is one of my favorite directors, and Carter Burwell is one of my favorite composers.
